In today’s world, where we all know the importance of skincare and organic products. Most of the companies cheat us and use marketing tricks to fool us into buying the so-called ‘organic’& ‘ayurvedic products’. Homemade remedies told to us by our grandmothers and mother are the actual saviors. Homemade face packs are the best, they are completely free of any toxins and inexpensive. Here are my top favorite face packs that are very easy to make at home and require simple ingredients.

ALOE VERA GEL PACK

The most loved product in the beauty industry, which comes with a lot of benefits. It is best if you use aloe vera gel directly from the plant. Just take the aloe vera gel and mix it with honey and apply it on your face. You can apply it daily. It just requires two ingredients and helps in removing blemishes and tanning, providing a natural glow to your face.

FRUIT PACK

Fruits have lots of minerals and vitamins. Take papaya, pomegranate, cucumber, watermelon (if available) extract their juice and mix them with honey and if you want, you can also add aloe vera. Containing Vitamin A, papaya removes dead cells and keeps your skin hydrated. Pomegranates are rich in antioxidants. Cucumber works wonders on the skin providing hydration and rejuvenates the skin.

COFFEE FACE PACK

Coffee is a rich source of antioxidants, it smoothens and brightens the skin. Just add coffee, sour curd, gram flour(besan), honey, aloe vera and apply it on your skin, leave it for 10 minutes and then finally scrub it and rinse it off. The results will amaze you.

BANANA FACE PACK

Banana is rich in potassium and vitamin A, it gives your skin the nutrition it requires. Just take a ripen banana add honey and aloe vera in it and you are good to go. If you don’t have aloe vera then you can replace it with milk too or add milk as an extra ingredient.

BESAN AND HALDI FACE PACK

Both besan and haldi have countless benefits. Though, besan doesn’t suit everyone one can use wheat flour(atta) instead of it. Add curd to it and apply it to your skin. Turmeric helps in curing acne and lightens scars too.

These are the five homemade face packs that I generally use because these ingredients are easily available to me. Lots of other face packs can be made using various other ingredients. We just need to stop blindly following the beauty brands and beauty influencers and buy costly face masks. Even though they claim to be natural, most of them are loaded with chemicals, just check their ingredients. They are also costly, they might give you instant results but are bad for the long run.

This is the best time for self-love and self-care. One special mention to the product GLOW PACK from SUDHA INTERNATIONAL, which has Chandan, Haldi, Flower petals, Mulethi, Pudina, Neem, and Ashwagandha with no added preservatives, chemicals, and colors, which I have been using since very long now and is as cheap as only Rs. 150. Do comment and tell us about your favorite homemade face packs.

DISCLAIMER: THE ABOVE MENTIONED INGREDIENTS MIGHT BE ALLERGIC TO FEW PEOPLE. PLEASE DON’T USE INGREDIENTS THAT CAUSES YOU ALLERGIC REACTIONS. USE INGREDIENTS ACCORDING TO YOUR SKIN TYPE.
